Dex-O-Tex Elastaflake is a flexible urethane deck covering that incorporates a flexible membrane and is applied to a thickness of approximately 1/8 inch (3.1 mm). Elastaflake is available in a wide range of attractive background colors. Decorative pigmented vinyl chips are incorporated into the resin and sealed in a clear polymeric matrix. It is customarily applied over Dex-O-Tex Terrazzo M and Terrazzo M VLW III Underlayments or other underlayment as designated to obtain the required thickness. Elastaflake provides a resilient, sound dampening, decorative, lightweight, easily cleaned surface for crew quarters, mess decks, passageways, toilet spaces and office spaces. Dex-O-Tex Elastaflake is fluid-applied to form a jointless surface offering substantial protection against corrosion of metal decking.
